New Grundig Music 51 DAB+ digital radio

Internet radios with digital radio reception: e.g. Cosmopolit 7 Web

DAB+ will be launched throughout Germany on 1 August 2011

Nuremberg, 2 September 2011: The enhanced DAB standard “DAB+” was launched throughout Germany on 1 August. Grundig will introduce a new digital radio onto the market, the “Music 51 DAB+”, which enables the playing of music with sound quality comparable to that of a CD. You can listen to the latest hits not only indoors but also outdoors, given that the new model is both mains- and battery-operated and also, thanks to its compact design, fully portable. The “Music 51 DAB+” is the newest addition to Grundig’s already broad range of digital radios. It will be available as of October for €79.99.

The portable “Music 51 DAB+” FM and digital radio from Grundig, with its large broadband loudspeakers, has a lot to offer. It is remarkably easy to operate: press the transmitter button, turn the volume control, and enjoy. The first time you switch it on, the Music 51 DAB+ will automatically search for the ten strongest FM radio station signals, which it will then immediately save. Radio stations can of course also be individually set and saved. The time and the frequency are indicated on the large LCD screen. The fact that it is so easy to operate, as well as its excellent reception, makes this radio ideal for use at home or on holiday. With a fold-out carrying handle attached to the back of the radio, the Music 51 DAB+ is the perfect travel companion. In order to ensure that you start the day right, the Music 51 DAB+ will wake you with music or an alarm signal. And if you prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace in the mornings, you can simply use the snooze function.

Range of Internet radios with digital reception
The Sonoclock 890 Web kitchen radio and the Cosmopolit 7 Web are able to pick up all DAB+ radio stations. But that’s not all: via their WiFi connection, these models can also access more than 16,000 Internet radio stations from all around the world. Whether you want to hear news reports, sports coverage or the latest chart hits, the reception with these digital and Internet radios is of the highest quality. Top-quality streamed playback of your own music collection, stored on your computer, is also possible. In addition, you can simply connect your MP3 player to the radio via the USB port and enjoy the music stored there, played back with a full, rich sound.
